Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry and Stephen Ministers offer care and support for people experiencing life difficulties such as the death of a loved one, job crises, aging, separation or divorce, long term illness, or for those needing the support of a Christian friend.

Stephen Ministry is a confidential ministry; those receiving care can be sure their identity and care relationship will remain private.

Evangelism/Membership

Membership at Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church is accomplished in the following ways:  Transfer from other Lutheran/Christian congregations; affirmation of faith where transfers are not available; Baptism, if never baptized before in a Christian congregation.  Classes to introduce you the Lutheran faith are held twice a year.

Come by and meet members from Hope on the first Saturday of the month in Dunnellon near the library from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Folks will be happy to speak with you about the church and receive your prayer petitions.  Prayers will be lifted up with the congregation at the following worship service.
